Research Summary
During this 5 week visit, I worked mostly with Pierre Alliez on ideas
related to remeshing of 3D mesh data sets. We explored a number of ideas
based on differential geometric concepts, such as the use of point- and
edge-curvature singularities for quad remeshing. The main issues there are
automatic detection and placement of the singularities. Work on this was
later continued in Israel with Mirela Ben-Chen.
