Laval Virtual together with VRIC (Virtual Reality International Conference) is historically the biggest convention for Virtual Reality in Europe.

We had held 11,000 persons from the entire world in a week at Laval Virtual 2005. Laval Virtual is an opportunity for VR researchers to interact, share new results, show live demonstrations of their work, discuss the emerging directions for the entire field, and envision the future realizations with several thousands of public visitors in Laval, that unique middle age city in the heart of France.

Aim and Scope of the Papers
We invite you to participate to the 8th Virtual Reality International Conference (VRIC). In 2006, we dare to set the overall scope as “general virtual reality”. The aim is to share the general knowledge in this year instead of separate each topic. Original, unpublished papers documenting new research contributions, practice and experience, or novel applications, from all areas of virtual reality techniques, are invited.
