IJSM Special Issues: Call for Proposals
The International Journal on Shape Modeling (IJSM) is a relatively new scientific journal published by the World Scientific. Prof. Tosyasu Kunii has founded this journal some years ago, with the aim of providing a multidisciplinary forum of discussion for all the scientists whose work is related to modeling shapes. Since its inception, the International Journal of Shape Modeling is aimed at creating a suitable environment for exchanging research results obtained in advanced theories and techniques devised for handling the shape of objects, pointing out the three main aspects of modeling: disciplines, roles, and applications.
For more details, please visit the journal web site (http://www.worldscinet.com/ijsm/ijsm.shtml)
As Editor-in-Chief of the journal, I am welcoming proposals for special issues of IJSM targeted at topics which are relevant to the programme of activities of AIM@SHAPE, especially addressed but not limited to AIM@SHAPE Partners.
Should you be interested in submitting a proposal, please send the following information to the address ijsm@ge.imati.cnr.it.
1) a short text describing the scope and topics of the special issue
2) a tentative list of possible contributors
3) a tentative schedule for submission, revision and publication
4) the names of the guest editors
For your information, the IJSM is published twice a year, with an average of five papers per issue, and next year it will be available in electronic form as well.
