Shape Modeling International - SMI07 (Lyon, France, from 2007-06-13 00:00 to 2007-06-15 00:00) — by Michela_Spagnuolo
Shape Modeling International (SMI) provides a forum for the dissemination of new computational techniques for modeling and processing digital representations of shapes and their properties to a community of academic and industrial experts across a wide range of areas. In 2001, SMI has merged with the Implicit Surface Workshop and is now run as an annual event alternating between Asia, Europe and America.
ICEIS 2007 (the 9th International Conference on Enterprise Information Systems) (Madeira, from 2007-06-12 12:00 to 2007-06-16 12:00) — by Laura_Papaleo
ICEIS is a prestigious world-class conference and a top reference in the area of Information Systems. The yearly meeting place of top researchers and practitioners in Computer Science and Information Systems, ICEIS is one of the largest conferences in the world in its area. More than 50 distinguished keynote speakers were invited to ICEIS during the previous eighth editions of this conference. ICEIS is sponsored by the Institute for Systems and Technologies for Information, Control and Communications, and it is usually held in cooperation with top international associations. Every year the best papers of the conference are published in a book, by Springer (previously Kluwer). Prestigious scientific journals publish extended versions of selected ICEIS papers. ICEIS-2007 will be held in the beautiful island of Madeira (the "Pearl of the Atlantic") on June 12-16 2007. The deadline for paper submission is November 23, 2006. Please check further details at the conference web site (http://www.iceis.org).

2006 International Conference on CYBERWORLDS (EPFL Lausanne, Switzerland, from 2006-11-28 09:00 to 2006-11-30 18:00) — by Alejandra_Garciarojas
Cyberworlds are information worlds being formed on Internet either intentionally or spontaneously, with or without design. As information worlds, they are either virtual or real, and can be both. In terms of information modelling, the theoretical ground for the Cyberworlds is far above the level of integrating spatial database models and temporal database models. This conference will deal with large distributed information worlds on Internet as well as methods and tools used for creating such worlds.
