Riccardo Albertoni is currently a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Information Technology of the National Research Council in Genoa. He received his degree in Computer Science from the University of Genoa in December 2001. Then he started his research activity at IMATI. His research interests are in the fields of Knowledge Management: Data Visualization, Metadata Analysis, Ontology, (Visual) Data Mining. Current research topics are mainly focusing on the design and development of visual tools for retrieving Multidimensional media such as Shape and Geographical data.
